SECOND VISIT TO YALA BLOCK 1 AND BLOCK 5.....


I went to Yala block 1and 5 with three friends of mine who are also avid wild life enthusiasts and photographers in the 4th week of August,

On our way to block V , we encountered this very friendly and innocent looking Elephant on the side of the road. I think by feeding him has almost become domesticated .
In pairs
This is Charlet a female in block V. After hearing an alarm call we tried to locate the area by moving slowly keeping a tab of the call and as soon as we took  a left turn we found this female nicely seated and looking at a heard of deer at a distance.
