TRIP TO WILPATTU ON THE LAST DAY OF 2022.......

I went to Wilpattu on the 31st December for a day trip with 3 fellow photographers. The main reason to go was the information we got regarding a rare winter migrant namely BLACK CAPPED KINGFISHER who was sighted after 7 years and we were lucky to see  the bird even though it was frequenting a couple of Kumbuk trees a bit far.
