I went to Wilpattu with a fellow photography friend and his BIL in the 3rd week of August for a day trip. It was scorching hot and the activities of the wild were somewhat hampered though I managed to get some decent photos
The bear population in Wilpattu has come down due to a few deaths over diseases.
