I went to Sinharaja in the 3rd week of January 2026 with my fellow photography couple. Although the visit in general was dull compared to other recent visits, the highlight was the unexpected opportunity we got to see the illusive Sri Lanka Bay owl that was in our bucket list for a very long time.
