BEDDEGANA WETLAND AND THE NEW LOOK

I visited the newly opened Beddegana wetland on the last Sunday in June and I was truly impressed  with the outcome as the UDA had done  a very professional and a super job as they had surely listened to some or many opinions of the wild life enthusiasts and others who used to patronize the  place including me. As one person who has been going there for over 7 years to watch birds I must say that they had made many paths through marshy land surrounding mangroves  which were not accessible  before with  watch  towers  erected at many strategic  locations without damaging the environment .

FIRST TRIP TO YALA FOR 2016 ......

I made my first trip to Yala national park for 2016 with 4 of my friends and stayed in a bungalow inside the park for 3 nights in the last week of May . We managed to see up to nine Leopards.
