VISIT TO ANURADHAPURA AND WILPATTU ...

I went to A'pura with my family , my eldest sister and her youngest daughter who have come from Australia on a short holiday. We  started around 5 am and reached A'pura around 9 am and after a brief rest, went and worshiped SRI MAHA BODIYA , RUWANWELI SEYA and then went around the city and looked at most of the places with  archaeological interest. After that proceeded to Wilpattu and after lunch at a close by hotel, made way to the jungle around 2.45 and had the chance of seeing a Bear and a herd of Elephants drinking water which was the highlight.
